Airstream plans major growth in Jackson Center. Hundreds of jobs ahead?

DAYTON — Fueled by its recent acquisition, Airstream is planning more major investments and an even larger hiring push, the Dayton Biz Journal reports.

Bob Wheeler, president and CEO of the Jackson Center, Ohio-based manufacturer of aluminum-body RVs, said three big business moves are pushing its continued growth. This may lead to capital investments and plans to increase employment to more than 800 workers.

The company is introducing two new product lines this year, in a move that will see it grow employment to 750 by the end of 2016. For Airstream careers, click here.
